PART THREE

Now I shared with you before that when we were over in Israel going through the one of those tunnels under the Temple Mount, you literally could sense at certain point the presence of the Lord so strongly. Now you’re underground, you can’t see anything, you’re underground. But you can just feel the presence of the Holy Spirit so powerfully. And the guy who was from the Israeli institute turned around and came back and said “Where you’re standing is the closest point to the Holiest of Holies.” Now that wasn’t announced before, there wasn’t any sign there. How did I know ? I was because the Holy Spirit bore witness that that’s where His special place was. The Holy Spirit hasn’t left the Temple Mount. He’s still there. So you look at the promises of God, God has not abandoned His covenant with Israel. His covenant is still very real, and still very active today.

Now in Jeremiah Chapter 30.
People say “Okay well what happened to Israel, because for such a long period of time they were thrown off the land ?” Yes, and that was a part of God’s judgment on His children. Does it mean that the land did not belong to them anymore ? No. Because God had an agreement with them. He didn’t mean it didn’t belong to them anymore, He just meant that somebody else was going to be on that land temporarily. Not as owners, but simply people He placed there to care for the land till the Jews repented and got themselves right with God.

In Jeremiah Chapter 30, in verse 3.

For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

“And they shall posses it.” Now, it doesn’t say that it no longer belonged to Israel. It just said the fathers were there, God gave it to their fathers but they’re going to come back and actually be in the land again. This is something nobody thought could possibly happen.

Just look at history. Where were the Jewish people in the late 1800s ? There was a man by the name of Theodore Hertzl who was going around and he was trying to tell all the Jewish people “Listen. We need a home land. We need a homeland.” And you know what they tried to figure out “Where can we go for a home land ?” Well, the most obvious place was Israel, but they said “We can’t go back there.” Because look how many crusades were fought to try to get back to Israel. Look how many crusades out of all the nations of Europe, they tried to overcome the Muslims to take over that area and they said, “We can’t do it.” And so all the Crusaders were pushed back into their homelands by the Muslims and now the Jews in the late 1800s early 1900s are looking at that and the historic fact and they’re saying “Look at how few we are. We can’t go into that area and take that area over. It’s an impossibility.” So Theodore Hertzl said “Alright, let’s look at a couple of other options. There is Argentina,” I think he named a place somewhere over in Europe, near Berne, Switzerland; and then he said New York City. Good thing they didn’t choose New York City.

But to make a long story short, a fellow came along who knew Bible prophecy by the name of Blackstone. Blackstone was a very close ally with Queen Victoria and Blackstone said “I know the prophecies of the Old Testament and God says He’s going to bring His people back into the land. You better get over there now.” They said “Oh, we can’t go over there. Why they’ll kill us, they won’t let us back into the land. There’s no way we can go over there.” And Blackstone pleaded and pleaded and finally he got Theodore Hertzl on his side and Hertzl put out a number of magazines and documents all over the world in many languages pleading with the Jewish people “Come back to the land.” They didn’t go. Instead they became more and more entrenched wherever they were.

They became entrenched in Czechoslovakia, in the cities of Poland. They became bankers. They became bakers. They became businessmen. They became jewelers. They became people who are involved in import and export. And as a whole they became fairly wealthy people. And then Hitler arose. And Hitler’s philosophy was “Those people were abandoned by God a long time ago. They’re nothing. They need to be destroyed because their prospering and their intelligence is polluting the human race.”

Now of course his point was it was polluting the Arian race. And so Hitler developed a program that he called the “Final Solution” for what his propaganda minister called, “the Jewish Problem.” And that is to kill them all wherever they were. Six million Jews were killed in the Holocaust. How many were actually interred in the prison camps ? A huge number were released after the Allied victory, most of them survived, many of them died from their injuries, many of them died from the effects of starvation that they had already suffered. They just couldn’t recover. But those that survived determined “We’ve got to find a home land. We’ve got to get back to some place where we can serve God.” Many of them went to New York. Many of them. Some of them went to Argentina.

And then there was about one third that said “You know we remember what Theodore Hertzl said. We remember what Blackstone said. We remember what the Scriptures said. We’ve got to go back to the land.” Only this time, this time there was an organization, the infantile United Nations, it was called by another name, decided “We are going to protect these people.” And you see at that point, because of the war the British had occupied that land. And under this administration it became a British Protectorate. And the Jews started pouring in, and the British said “Okay, you can come in, resettle, do whatever you want.” Because they saw the land was barren, there wasn’t anything left after the war, the Nazis and their allies had decimated so much. And so they were glad for people, no matter who they were, to come in.

But then when they found out that they wanted to create the nation of Israel, then the British army said “Oh, no. We’ve got to stop this flow of Jews coming into the land.” Now some of you may remember there was a movie made some years ago called “The Exodus” about a ship that was trying to come into the land and it was blocked at every turn, because the British were fed up with how many Jews were actually coming in at the time. They were concerned because they knew then, “Uh-oh, these people are coming in and they actually are going to fight for the land of Israel.

Then you have the New World Order. The New World Order (saying it slowly) One thing that fights against the New World Order is the idea that Israel must always be dependent upon God. Now in the United States, we’re following the New World Order. We’re doing some very, very foolish things, and we’re going to pay the consequences for it. And yet Israel has said “We are not going to absorbed by the New World Order.” Because Israel is in a different situation. Israel is going to depend upon God. So Israel is at odds with this New World Order.

One thing led to another, and as we know there finally came a day in March, 1948, when the United Nations officially declared Israel as it’s own state. David BenGurion, who was one of the military leaders at that time leaned out of the King David Hotel and declared Israel a nation once again. Now God had promised that. That in the latter times they would be brought back into the land of their fathers. That promise was not given to anybody else. It was given to the Jewish people, and God fulfilled His word.

In Jeremiah 30 in verse 22.

And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Now in Jeremiah Chapter 33. Let’s go over there for a second.

One of the ways that we know that this is specifically for Israel and that God has not broken His covenant with Israel is all the promises that He made to David and to the descendants of David.

In Jeremiah Chapter 33, take a look at verse 19.

And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

In other words, if you can stop the day from being the day, and you can stop the night from being the night, then you have a chance at breaking the covenant that God made with David. Well, there’s still day and night isn’t there ? So God’s covenant with David still stands doesn’t it ? And His covenant with the Levites to be His priests, that still stands as well. So when you look at the evidence that’s presented, and it is overwhelming evidence, then you have to realize – what causes a person to think that the Jewish people have been cast aside ? That they are no longer important to the plan of God. That they are God’s castaways. Who could think that and why would they think that ? Well, why did Hitler think that way ? Why did various others down through the years think that way.

It’s a demonic, devilish idea. It’s from Satan himself. And the reason we’re looking at this tonight is so you can understand that what is happening in the churches around the world today, that are saying the Jewish people are cast out, they’re nothing, the promises of God no longer apply to them. Where did this idea come from ? They have adopted demonic doctrines. They’re certainly not doctrines that came from God’s word. Certainly not doctrines that God revealed as changing His mind. Because as He points out “If you can get the day to stop being the day, and the night to stop being the night, then maybe, I’ll break my covenant with David.” But that isn’t going to happen. That isn’t going to happen.      God will not dishonor His agreement.
In Jeremiah Chapter 33, verse 24.

Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them. Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.

Now unfortunately we don’t have a whole lot of time to finish up a lot of this tonight. But, it is something that I think is extremely important to understand. Considering that they’re just so many churches today that have thrown aside the clear teaching of the Word of God to adopt a demonic doctrine. And when they do there are all sorts of ramifications to that.

Number one is there is a hatred toward the Jewish people. They fail to reach them for the Lord. They fail to care for them. They fail to pray for them. They fail to support them in Israel. They fail to pray for the peace of Jerusalem as it relates to Israel, now they’re concerned more about themselves.

But most important as you look at this, you see that these churches will support the ideals of the antichrist, and that makes this doctrine extremely dangerous in these last days. And to be quite frank, the majority of the charismatic churches today have already adopted this point of view. Many other churches, and we’re talking about main stream churches, the churches that are much more formal, those churches have adopted this particular philosophy, as well.

It seems that more and more churches are turning against what the Bible has said. And this pits them against God and it makes a very difficult situation in those churches for those people who attend those churches. Because there’s something that God said to Abraham, that they seem to bypass, God said “I will bless them that bless thee, and will curse them that curse thee.” We need to be especially careful of this. Lord willing I want to share a lot of other things dealing with this maybe one more time. So you have a foundation to understand when you hear some of these subtle things on television that are being brought out today. And you hear from different people that are going to some of these churches, you’ll understand what they believe and you’ll understand how the Bible contradicts it. We need to know why we stand where we do. We need to see the Scriptures, not resurrected Nazi doctrines. We need to understand what God has said, and what the everlasting covenant is. And when we do, then we can stand in faith and bless the people of God. And then God’s blessing will be upon us.
